I don’t know how many of you realize it but Cherry St. Farmers Market has a winter counterpart. Yes you can get locally grown produce, meats, cheeses etc. every other Saturday in Tulsa.
Several of us vendors get together at 41st and Peoria in the Food Pyramid parking lot. The next market is Saturday, December 29th. Feel free to drop by and buy what you like. You can also preorder from some of the vendors online at www.CleanFoodTulsa.LocallyGrown.net, and your order will be waiting for you at the market. Barbara Crain from Wagon Creek Creamery will have an invoice printout for you when you come to pick up your order. The market is open from 9:00-11:00am.
Here are the remaining dates:
Dec. 29th
Jan. 12th & 26th
Feb. 9th & 23rd
March 9th, 23rd, & 30th
After March 30th the regular Cherry Street Market will resume.
If you have any questions, Barbara is very accommodating and will answer all questions on line, or just call her 580.496.2447. She and her husband run Wagon Creek Creamery, and I have found it a pleasure to work with them.
Of course all your local, raw, wildflower honey needs can be met with my Gold Standard Honey. Again as I have told many of you, my honey is not processed, cooked or cut, but simply flows from the comb into the bottle. It has been a pleasure also serving all the good people who support Cherry St. Farmers market in Tulsa. I never stop being amazed how intense and zealous people are about good locally grown clean food. I’m glad to see so many people waking up to what is good and what is not…good for you Tulsa!
All the best to you and your families,
George Brining
